Maybe those countries have similar rules?They shouldn't be allowed to move to Budapest! It's a longer trip for us, they should have been forced to moved the match closer to England not further away, like Holland, France or Belgium. Bullshit.

it’s an additional hour each way, travelling first class. I think the advantage we gain by not having to play an away leg outweighs the disadvantage of the extra travel time

Also, with no fans there is no advantage in playing in your home stadium barring travel.

Part of me wishes they would. It’s my lifetime’s dream to be in a world class stadium in a world class city watching City win the champions league for the first time and it would be Sod’s law we do it in an empty stadium.Personally I think this is one comp that they should have cancelled with all the cross border travel needed. Never going to happen with the money involved though.
