PSG is not a reference but that Madrid side is getting some form.
Although we didn't lose this time , they dominated us outrageously in Madrid. More than the side who had won the CL two years ago.

yes that was probably the best performance of the season. If Real Madrid play anywhere near that high level I can’t see any team stopping us so you did very well to get a point in the end. The game sort of changed when Fede valverde came off because Zidane thought the game was won and wanted to rest him and also when Hazard got injured. He won’t make that same mistake again. Keylor Navas was incredible for you, probably the best goalkeeping performance in any game across all the leagues this season. I think this could be the year you go far, Gueye was brilliant in the first game
 
Fair to say I'm bit less optimistic after watching that first half of El Classico. Madrid looking far better than I thought they are. Our defence would be very, very vulnerable to their counters tonight.
 
real is getting better, so city obviously needs to up their level until then. Still i like the draw cause if city cant beat this ok real side then they have no business winning a champions league

The KO rounds are months away and we don't know in which condition (form, injuries) any team will be but Real Madrid is scary. Not many team can beat them at their best imo. City is one of the few that can do it but only if they are themselves at their very best.

i just saw barcelona play perhaps their worst home classico of the decade and still real couldnt score for shit. so yeah, they dont impress me much

Don’t forget to throw in favouritism from refs and of course the fantastic VAR ..
 
Good draw for City , real will be tougher than some think.
Hope a draw over there and win it at the etihad.

Tbh, they should have haad 2 stonewall penalties in first half, but neither ref or VAR had balls to call it.

Zidane made them look very, very good team again. We'll need to be at our absolute best to win the tie.
 
70 euros for the away leg. They are only selling VIP so far at 650 euros a pop which are similar to block 122 pitchside at our place.

This is wrong. Are you forgetting about benzema? Along with lewandowski, he’s probably been the best striker in the world the last few seasons. His goalscoring record has been immense since Ronaldo left, and Hazard is still to come back, and Bale can score a goal out of nothing as he showed against Liverpool , Rodrygo scored a hattrick v galatasary too

I said if the team plays like the performance against psg at the bernabeu, one of the bests teams in the tournament. Keylour Navas had to put in an absolutely brilliant display to prevent the score being 5 or 6. It’s fair to say not every goalkeeper will play like Navas did in that game
