If i told you that.........
Just been watching a programme on Sky Sports 2 and apparently his contract is up in the summer.

Would you have him in a Patrick Vieira role? would add much needed Champions League experience which is what we've evidently missed, and still a class player.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. He is an incredible player who could walk up and down the pitch and still get it done. Pace means nothing for him. Hargreaves wont be back, nor will Pizzarro. Seedorf would do well to play alongside the likes of Razak and Abu in our lesser games.

I would definately have him. I watched the program as well and he looks like a real top guy!

Great experience and would be great for our youth to be around him!!

Top player and top bloke. I think we are a couple of years too late though. What is he now, 35? He`d be 36 by the time he came and would have to get used to the league. I know Giggs and Scholes are older but they have played here all their lives.

No, far too old, and never played in premiership.
Viera came in to do a purpose in a team that was being built.
We have moved upwards from there and should now buy younger
players.

Briefly played with Mancini at Sampdoria, so could be a goer. Don't know if we're a bit late though with his advancing years, and considering the general consensus that we need more pace in the side I can't really see it happening.

I would properly love to see Seedorf in the premier league, think it could be an interesting move.

-- Tue Feb 14, 2012 9:59 pm --

Experience like Seedorf has can't be bought.

Good post, spot on.

I thought bobby tried to get him to join us when he first came here and he declined.

Jordi?

If you could get him on a 1 year deal with the agreement that he becomes part of the coaching staff afterwards it would be a great signing.

BIGGG experience .. one of them players you grown up watchng and admiring ...shouting his name as you unleash a rasper on the turf SEEEDDDORRRFFF

Valuable CL experience. Would be a massive voice in the dressing room.
However I could only see him playing in early League/FA cup games and if we had a string of injuries/suspensions.

I'd have him no problem, as said, experience-wise it really doesn't come any better, been there, seen it, done it and to add to that, although age may be a concern he's still an incredible athlete and more than capable of doing a job for us now (Zanetti is very similar in that respect) and beyond in some capacity.
