Donnie Darko is a a bit of a cult film i think, i watched it in the cinema and it just ruined my brain. Don't think it's one i could watch again.

Another in a similar pattern is Primer, an indie film about time travel which has some mad science methodologies involved. I watched it in The Cornerhouse when i was in Uni and remember needing to have a sit down for a bit, its all over the place.

Donnie darko is ace, watched it loads of times, still not 100% sure what the hell is going on though. Love the cinema scene, the music is just amazing.

I Saw the Devil is one of my faves, not for everyone though. Another one that's similar is Ichi the Killer, def not for everyone but i fucking loved it.
