I have often championed Two Sevens Clash on here...great album. Led me into Black Uhuru....me give dem a go...Long ago, in the 80's ? UB40 did a very bland version of Kingston Town.
The original was done by Lord Protector (you've got to love those names ) well worth a listen.
Totally different but Two Sevens Clash buy Culture. I came across this when listening this morning to a Clash compilation dubbed by Dave Mendez (I've no idea but it's great)

He's done many live recordings of Many Rivers to Cross but, imo, thst is his finest. If it doesn't move you, you are dead.

As for Two Sevens Clash, I read this thread often ! I will have to re-read it.
You mean the “Lord Creator” ? :) He was out of hospital and down on his luck but UB 40 copied it and payed him the royalties.
