Haha that i would pay to see,the only thing that let him down is never booking rughead until late in the game,he does seem to play favourites with him

I can only assume at first glance to him you are drawn to his big stupid hair missing the elbow shattering some poor sods eye socket, beyond that it is an absolute mystery to me why he is simply not pulled up more.

This, his foot was high but didn't go in with studs although these days theres a few refs that might have seen it completely different. Its typical if the rag media to distract the public from the schooling we gave them in the first half.

He was alright in the sense that there were no real game-changing decisions. I thought MOTD called it right on the two penalty incidents the rags were moaning about. Bravo played the ball cleanly from what I could see and Otamendi had his back to goal when it hit his elbow. The Bailly one on Otamendi wasn't really clear either but the kick afterwards should have seen a red.

The one thing that was annoying was his refusal to issue a single yellow to Rooney for a number of nasty fouls. That kick at Bravo that finally earned him a very belated card could have been a straight red. Even Republik of Mancunia's match report said Rooney should have gone.

Exactly,I can't understand how it's even a talking point. It wasn't over the top or two footed and he won the ball. If that was donut thief on one of ours yesterday I wouldn't be calling for a penalty,it was a 50/50 ball and Bravo won it cleanly. It's amazing what the sycophantic media and pundits will come up with to excuse the defeat yesterday.

Thought he did OK yesterday to be honest. Yes, maybe he could have given a penalty against bog brush on Nolito, but equally he could have sent Bravo off. (I didn't think that was a red card challenge personally, but I've seen a lot less given.)

And OK, so he should have booked shrek at least twice. But he didn't slant the playing field massively one way or another. We went in with a lot of strong challenges that a bent ref would have blown for.

What about the penalty and sending off on Otamendi,clear as day to me ?
