Caught the same flight back to the UK as Clattenburg a few months ago - it was incredible how he managed to avoid eye contact with anyone getting on or off the flight.

Flatten burgs a clown of the highest order. This the 3rd time now he's 'investigated' following complaints and I believe he was actually sacked and re-instated on appeal over his business dealings but if what he said to Lallana is true it hardly merits a complaint let alone the knee jerk reaction from Southampton. I can' help feeling there is a lot of history between his natural bad decision making and Southampton

Personally I think clubs/players don't give him the benefit of the doubt for other reasons. Refs can make bad decisions and they usually bottle them, but he is different.
