Yes agreed. Only way this becomes a big problem is if ederson picks up an injury.

I smell a good old capitulation. How many injuries in the last 2 seasons? It's beyond a joke now.
 
I appreciate this is hindsight but considering he's no 2 at Southampton surely it would have made more sense to promote Gunn?
 
What are the eligibility rules for the league cup?
Could we sign someone as back up for CL and league cup and bring them into the premier league squad in Jan?
 
Really feel for Bravo. A ruptured achilles is an extremely difficult injury to come back from, and he's no spring chicken. Wishing him all the best.

He's available or what's Stuart Taylor doing these days?

If the back up goalkeeper gets injured you are allowed to bring in an emergency loan goalkeeper or a free agent. Surely that would mean they could replace Bravo in the PL squad? Would make zero sense if not allowed.

No eligibility rules for either FA or League Cup (barring being cup tied). If he's your player, he can play.
