Its a bizarre tag to give our supporters, and its even fucking stranger,at such an early and tremendously optimistic stage, that someone would attempt to create division amongst such.

That sort of comment is neither constructive or welcome.
I'm honestly shaking my head at some on here, ps I PM'd and apologised after my little out burst the other day, I was getting a little wound up, most unlike me :-)

Nobody is wanting either Pep or Bravo to fail. There are just many who see this as a pointless upgrade when there are other areas that are a priority. People are also capable of not liking a person individually without wishing that they would fail the larger collective. As the Liverpool vs Bournmouth game showed, having all the possession in the world means nothing if you don't do anything with the ball. Fortunately for us, we've played manageable competition so far, so we've done well. I'm more worried about the quality of FBs moving forward even if we are to pass out from the back.

No upgrade is pointless.

For me the upset is caused because Joe has won things for us, when most thought we would never see those days. He is a strong character/presence. Others have left who were just as important to those wins and hardly anything said. Barry, Lescott, De Jong.

I trust Pep fully on this.

If Joe is so good and is available for a loan deal why is no one banging the door down. Joe is better than Cech or Mignolet?

You only have to consider the lack of clubs coming in for Hart to think he's not all he's cracked up to be. With Crystal Palace able to spend 35m on a player surely an ambitious club in the premier league would want to sign England's current No 1 goalkeeper...in theory they should be falling over themselves and Joe should want to play football.

I've been a lone voice for a long time saying that Joe is not a good enough GK for a club with our ambitions. I'm delighted Pep has realised this too but Joe should go as a City legend and will always be remembered fondly for the history changing he was a part of.

Joe's wages and a potential loan move are what are putting clubs of. Unless it's a permanent deal, no big clubs are going to come in for him as a loan move wouldn't benefit any team attempting to compete in the CL. You would want a long term commitment before deciding to upend your club's GK situation. I always thought the Everton rumors were a bit of a stretch after they had picked up Stekelenbug who has done well for them.

Firstly because goalkeeper is the most difficult position to move players around in. You play just one, for most of the season.

Secondly the calibre of club Hart would be looking at are likely to have already planned their keeper situation for this season so close to the end of the window.

Thirdly the money we'd want for England's number one keeper would limit the options severely.

Fourthly, Hart is certainly better than Mignolet. It's debatable if he's better than Cech, but he's certainly 5 years younger, and homegrown, which helps.

This is a good thing for the team and joe hart. He needs pushing like he never has been pushed before and if he can't handle it then he doesn't belong in this team. Pep will not tolerate players who don't work hard for him, mistakes are one thing but not willing to learn and adapt ? This is why yaya, nasri are on the outs ! They aren't bigger than mcfc !
