Claudio Echeverri/On Loan at River Plate

Seems to make little sense bringing him in in February. Surely he should be in the squad at the weekend? We have very important fixtures in January and if recent trends continue we may well be short staffed. Probably he would have lingered on the bench so maybe no loss.

From what I've seen of him he'll be going into the EDS when he joins. He's absolutely tiny he'll need a lot of time and patience.

I guess this depends on whether he’ll be incorporated into the first team squad immediately, with a view to actually playing some minutes, or whether he’s just regarded as loan material. I don’t know what the plan is.
We may well decide not to take up a needed squad place with him this season and make room ready for next. It would mean we could bring 3 in ,in January.Unless we are keeping Rodri registered.

We wouldn't need to register him due to his young age, his Birthday is actually a day after the cut off point so we are good for the next 2 seasons after this one aswell.

Will we loan him out before he even steps of the plane or wait until he at least checks into his hotel and unpacks?

:)

I dont think he can really make an impact currently.

Might as well let him play that tournament then join up for the last few months of the season.

Depends on how he adapts to his surroundings. Might be an easier transition for him if he can play against kids his age
If Echeverri plays 2 games for the EDS I will eat my own arse. He's one of the top youth prospects in the world who has played 30 games for one of the world's biggest clubs this season including in their Champions League games. He's not some rando like Kayky
