He's been a great signing and his speed means he's rarely caught out, fantastic signing for £7million, my only problem with him is that Kolarov is my favorite player :/

By far the best city player today (Dzeko a close 2nd).

He has been the most consistent player this season so far and is rapidly becoming one of my favourite players.

Never ever think "oh shit" when Gael is back there, biggest compliment i can pay him. best 1v1 defender in the league and in great form. Just wish he was more adventurous going forward, always stops at a certain point and goes back when he has the pace and technique to just bomb on and get past the defender. Could be a serious weapon offensively if he did that but he's not done it his entire career can't see it happening now. End of the day, he's a defender first and a bloody good one.

People need to start calling him "guy-al" though not "gail"

Has the most incredible engine can just keep sprinting all game. His pace, even at the end when Defoe ran into the box, was sensational.

Very nice to see him get some kudos. Richly deserved.
