I have absolutely no doubt you are correct but it appears big business and many of the regimes that have the resources to do something about co2 emissions are on board the climate warming must react even your next king has broken ranks.

Our current prime minister the business council and even our farmers federation not two years ago talked about the transition to a much larger renewable energy mix as economy wrecking 101 and he won an election that almost every pundit thought was unwinnable on the back of the opposition refusing to release the modelling of the cost to the economy and many have no idea how much it will actually cost least of all the impact on the temperature of the globe.

Fast forward two years and nothing has changed economically the subsidies for renewables continue meaning fossil fuels continue to rise as does the price of coal and gas at record rates.

The politics and pressure globally by investors on Australia to do much more even though by world standards we have done more to cut our emissions than many of the countries telling us to do much more has changed.

Our government are likely to commit to a net zero by 2050 whatever the hell that actually means in practical terms.

it will mean higher electricity prices for those who can least afford it , irregular supply to many households and without nuclear energy in the mix a very uncertain future for this country or at least more uncertain than it would be if we developed our own nuclear industry many years ago building upon Lucas Heights.

I am happy to go renewable with wind and solar and hydrogen if it meant cheaper and stable supply but to date the storage , supply and cost issues all favour the status quo.

People in the main want cleaner energy they just don't want to pay for it.

Unfortunately as we transition we won't know how it will directly impact on the climate in any case.

Again causation and correlation I know they are not the same but others get caught up in the hype and common sense goes out the window.

The reality hasn’t resonated with most people -the Taxes to Pay for this BS are coming from You -and coming from You forever -as in you will literally Pay Forever for Climate Change -cos we have no realistic control over Climate events at all and never will have

Well, there are things we can do to reduce fossil fuel burning which have benefits other than reducing CO2. Whether reducing CO2 and improving air quality are worth the cost, is another question. Moore would probably say it's not.

We can all do our bit but really we are a wee dot in the world.The bigger picture is there are a lot of countries bigger than us.So anything we do is not really going to affect the world unless bigger nations do the same.

Is CO2 the Key to anything tho? -cos we’ve been told this by the MSM doesn’t make it so. We are in the midst of an Event that occurs every 10,000 years as far as can be made out and repeats as far as can be ascertained from Core Samples from the Earths history. This is the Science not the BS the MSM broadcast hyping up the hysteria.

This is just the new Millenarian Hysteria ala the Cathars etc in Medieval times -remember the Guy with his Plaque outside Maine Road -the end of the Road is nigh/ Armageddon etc etc.

That’s 10 million requiring more electric, gas, cars, oil etc.

Correct-and this is never mentioned -along with the strain on the rest of the services eg NHS etc
We are all Paying for this NOW and will get worse.

CO2 is key to warming the planet up, along with other gasses such as methane.

Climate Change is an established scientific fact. It is not "BS", it is happening and is as much a scientific fact as the Theory of General Relativity, Theory of Evolution and the like. The vast, overwhelming body of peer-reviewed, scientific evidence tells us that burning fossil fuels for around 200 years is warming the planet up. It's not hysteria, it's not "BS", it's a scientific fact.

The problem we have with Climate Change is that if you are wrong, and the scientists are correct, our children and grandchildren will live in a world that is going to be increasingly hostile. It will be hotter, colder, warmer, wetter, more humid and drier in different areas. It will force millions of people away from coastal areas, create climate refugees and water crises. It will destroy crops, plants and huge numbers of animals that live on this planet. It may even cause wars over natural resources like land and water. Even if the scientists are "half wrong" (climate is an incredibly difficult thing to model) we should not be pumping billions of tonnes of gasses into the atmosphere every year.

We simply cannot gamble that the "non MSN" news - a source of misinformation - is correct. They are not backed by scientific evidence, it's as simple as that.

This planet is the only one in the known universe that supports life. It has taken millions of years to create a vast ecosystem and atmosphere. We have a moral duty to look after what we have been given.

Many “Reporters” are in reality Activists -not just on Climate but on many aspects and there is hardly any nuanced reporting on anything in the MSM anymore. Even worse is the development of these “ fact checkers” proliferating at the moment. Who the hell are these people qualified to censor what people hear. Herein lies the route to Totalitarianism -and we are travelling along those Tracks right now.

This has been happening in our universities and as you say MSM for many years now and very few are calling it out.

We had a senior scientist who dared to call out the false reporting on the state of the Great Barrier Reef whose whole working life has been dedicated to the reef and he was sacked and upon appeal it was dismissed and due to lack of funds despite receiving some compensation he cannot afford to take the matter further.

I would sooner believe his reporting detail than that of the UN.

Its a disgrace and a sad reflection on humanity in general that we cannot even get a definitive answer as to how and why the Wuhan Virus was allowed to spread throughout the world killing millions more people that have been reported to date.

the figures from China for example are a farce.

This great reset that fools like Boris Johnson keep referring to are nothing but making poor people poorer and rich people richer.

When you have the police firing rubber bullets and spaying everyday hard working people whose livelihoods and jobs have been destroyed because no one will listen and adequately compensate them for doing so you can see what lies ahead.

Unfortunately big business and the elites who are least impacted the great reset are happy to say to the citizen you will own less and less and be happy about it.

the government , the elites and big business become are masters and as you allude to we are their servants.
