Well at least I don't contribute by fashion cycling. Could think of nothing worst than constantly buying new clothes to keep up with a trend.

Think I have had my favourite pair of jeans 6 years.
 
Ive watched this a couple of times. I'm not convinced by it at all.

He's a renowned expert tbf. And also it's not only him saying it. Research done by (or on behalf) of Deutsche Bank suggests a peak of 8.7 bn by 2055, followed by slow decline to 8 bn by 2100, for example.

The fundamental point that large families are driven primarily by high infant mortality rates, and once we fix that, then - along with appropriate education - family sizes will come dowm, is basically sound I think.

If we can get to a point where 2 adults have just slightly more than 2 kids (or less) then the population stops rising (once the kids have grown up and had their kids).

Ah, I see it all now. Covid jabs program the entire world's population to jump in the air at a given moment, thus triggering a huge change in the earth's orbit.
Gates has bet a huge amount on the next ice age and Musk is filmimg it all from space. Meanwhile, having had my jabs, I am stuck permanently to my fridge by magnetic attraction and my glasses are tuned to 5G.
Luckily, I have a one way ticket to Uranus.
