I'm sorry Skashion, but you're wrong. The IPCC has said that there is now "very high confidence" that climate change is caused by human activities. As I'm sure you're aware, very high confidence constitutes a certainty of 90% or above. AR4 should have been the end of the issue. The debate rages on because of politics, not science. The science was conclusive a long time ago. AR5 will push this into even more definitive language when it is released.

What was the cause of climate change some 10 000 years when the last ice age ended ?

Natural cycles. You'll have a point when you can show that that occurred over the course of 50 years and not 5000 years.

Can you actually show that the last 10000 years are not having an effect of the rate of melting today?
You have a huge block of ice, and you start melting it gradually, the smaller it gets it faster it starts melting.

Some people need to understand that the global climate is NOT the weather where you live.

Climate change is a reality. The ice cap is shrinking dramatically and sea levels are rising.

As Newton said:

"The rate of change in momentum of a body is proportional to the applied force and takes place in the direction in which the force acts"

Only metaphorically correct in this instance, but at a basic level , it is still basic physics. The rate of change is too fast to be natural and the direction is all towards heat, which reflects the applied force (us).

The planet is fucked and the effect is speeding up. It's all going to be headline news in 2 to 3 years.
