clothes !

George

There is a recession on yer know.

Back in the good old days when I had money, Firetrap, Sonnetti and VSL would have been the labels of choice, still have quite a lot of Ben Sherman shirts, mainly from when they were having a clearence sale at their factory a couple of mile from home.

Have a look on the Fashionsauce website and thank me later.

(Google it you lazy gits)

IMO: You don't have to spend a lot on clothes but you need to buy quality clothes. The £100 jumper that lasts me 10 years is far better value than the £20 jumper that looked out of shape after one year.

Only for hoodies and none of that Jack Wills nonsense.

I think you shop exclusively at Oipolloi - or you could do anyway

I mix it up but generally when it comes to coats or jeans i'll shop at Oi Polloi. TK Maxx is still great for a bargain, bought a Fjall Raven coat from there for £100 about 3 years back and tend to find alot of decent knitwear for good prices. 'Ran' just off St Annes square is ok plus the Fred Perry shop just up the road. We're quite lucky when it comes to shopping I think, a decent last resort is always Harvey Nics or Selfridges.

Did a southerner say in this thread that northerners were 10 years behind? Ridiculous accusation if true. I'm in London quite alot and the standard of fashion sense is appalling. Even at the football. Dalston/Shoreditch are supposed to be quite cool but to me it's like being at an Oxfam circus. Northerners always have and always will lead the way in fashion.

It's Abercrombie & Fitch.

And judging by that list, you are no label snob mate.
