Given that Bernardo is likely to be moving on at the end of the season and Dias's selection is coming under increasing threat who would you like to see as Captain next year. Whilst Rodri would seem the obvious choice given his current contract uncertainty would Nunes offer a better longer term prospect

Tricky one, I think Rodri if he stays, I would suggest Ake but think he wants more game time and will go this summer. I know both are highly respected by the other players. Guehi could probably be one of the captains’ squad but I think they need someone who has been around for a while, so I suggest Dias or Gvardiol. I think Phil needs to focus on his form and it seems he has health issues that affects that. Haaland maybe, maybe not. His focus should be on finding the net, but I was impressed with his encouragement in the huddle on Sunday.
