Surely ringing up the ticket office to ask the price of a shirt is a daft question! Maybe even calling them and asking if we are signing messi, would be time wasting as well. But i fail to see, asking ANY questions regarding Season TICKETS from the TICKET office is wasting time...

if you read my posts again you will see that I said 'most' of the callers dont need to ring.......there will be some genuine queries that you need to speak with the customer services about that you cannot get the answer from the website or even by using your own common sense.......so get off your high horse and take your words in capital letters with you. OK ?

Ive tried calling every day for over a week at different times of day and best ive managed so far is a expected wait of 30 mins which is still to long! Piss poor customer service but sadly it is nothing new and they never seem to learn their lessons.
My query is quite simple i want to add the cup schemes on and the webiste wont allow me to do so therefore simple things like ensuring everyone can update cup schemes online may save a lot of calls and free up the lines for others
 
After waiting 25 minutes got some more details

I wanted to change my sons season ticket into my daughters name whilst he's on a placement - so age 18-21 to age 14.

Was told to email details to supporterservices@mcfc.co.uk - might be worth emailing if your enquiry isn't urgent
 
This is why I'm dreading the relocation window, emailed them to ask if it'd be possible online, they said supporter services phone number only.
 
I just got through after a 40 minute wait, and they don't know if we are signing Messi, and they don't know the price of the new shirt yet...... However I easily renewed my season ticket online in 5 mins :-)
 
The ticket line where you can renew your Seasoncard is 24 hour so if you can't do it online (oddly won't accept my card) then ring at a less obvious hour and you'll be fine. I don't think I waited for 2 minutes.

This is why we aren't relocating.
 
Related issue - I tried to order a couple of the Champions DVDs on line and failed 5 times over 3 days - every time I thought I was there it went back and asked for the order all over again. When I gave up and rang the phone number they gave I was told there was a 2 hour wait (God knows how they know it will be 2 hours!).

I eventually got through the next day on the phone and gave my order to someone who honestly didn't sound as if they knew what they were doing. The DVDs did actually turn up very promptly but if I hadn't been that bothered about getting them then I would would have given up ages ago.

I really want our club to succeed financially and part of that will certainly entail expanding our merchandising worldwide. If my experience is anything to go by it's going to be a struggle!
