I think we do yes - Spanish Dave Day....... :-)He was a great player. One of the best we’ve ever seen.
But what do we want, a national holiday every time an ex player happens to be in town?

Hes a shy guy so its limited what you can ask him to do I agree it should have been announcedDo we as City fans truly believe we treat ex players players with the gratitude and respect they deserve, example is David Silva a absolute world class player for us and country yet hardly any recognition at the weekend game no details he was going to be at the game even some of the players didn’t know he was attending, David is up their with the greatest players for this club.what are your thoughts
This ^^^ I think it's more a case of DS being a very private individual. IIRC he did a similar drop-in thing when Real Sociedad came to town to play the Scum. You ever thought he didn't want a massive fuss?
The least we could have done is baked him a huge cakeHe was a great player. One of the best we’ve ever seen.

We baked Yaya a huge cake and he wasn't appreciative, therfore he became a club leg-end.The least we could have done is baked him a huge cake
In the summer, Goater was awarded the freedom of Bermuda, with 21 June declared as "Shaun Goater Day" on the island. He was a great player. One of the best we’ve ever seen.

I was at the city legends night on Monday at the opera house (SWP, Dickov, Weaver …Reid) really good evening, Peter Reid was clear that City’s soul was the same now as when he played / managed and that the club treated its ex-players fantastically well - all agreedHes a shy guy so its limited what you can ask him to do I agree it should have been announced
If you watch the latest Inside City you will see him at CFA and Khaldoon presenting him with his Life Time Season Ticket Im pretty sure there was more besides, including meeting all the players, maybe there will be more media coming out soon?
He has a statue one of only 6 former players
Yes we do treat former players well
I agree (except it's a muffin)Personally think we are fantastic at looking after our legends even old players and managers, name a club that does it better.
