Hoping City might have a game or two in Charlotte with my dad living in North Carolina but I guess City, Madrid etc are likely to be in some of those bigger citiesVenues confirmed - from the FIFA website:
'FIFA has confirmed the 12 stadiums in the United States that will stage matches at the new FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ when the 32 best clubs in the world play for the only official title of FIFA Club World Champions.
The tournament kicks off on Sunday, 15 June 2025, with all roads leading to the MetLife Stadium in New York New Jersey on Sunday, 13 July 2025 where the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ final will be played, just over a year before the venue stages the FIFA World Cup 26™ final.
This venue is joined by 11 more – Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta), Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte), TQL Stadium (Cincinnati), Rose Bowl Stadium (Los Angeles), Hard Rock Stadium (Miami), GEODIS Park (Nashville), Camping World Stadium (Orlando), Inter&Co Stadium (Orlando), Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia), Lumen Field (Seattle), and Audi Field (Washington, D.C.)'.
I live in New Jersey so I will be at any match in NY, Philadelphia, and most likely DC...if we reach the semi finals or finals and they are in NC or Florida I'll be there too...I reckon this is going to be off the scale. With City being the most-watched club team on US tv the demand for tickets for our matches will be pretty intense. Can see the tournament being a big success myself. I’m going for the final two weeks of the tournament and praying that we will still be involved!!
Who else is going?
The format is already agreed. 8 groups of 4. Top 2 teams through to a knock out.Hopefully a date for the draw and format of the competition
