Club World Cup 2025 - Who’s going?

The prize money for this is equal to the Champions League. I’d imagine in 50 years this’ll be like the Champions League and the trophy all the players want to win.

Why some are turning their nose up at it I have no idea.
There is far too much football as it is without adding another potential 7 matches.

Dodgy Donald does Dallas.
I was in Florida just over a couple of years ago, they love the Trumpster down there.

I wonder if @Mad Eyed Screamer is a fan, he lives there. No Income tax, just about 16% in federal taxes and insurance, very conservative.

When we were in Clearwater shops were selling pro Trump tee shirts, the one I remember had an image of Trump on it with "Are you missing me yet?"

I’m in Vermont now!

Spot on. I feel like this will be the start of something big. For me, I’m more excited about it than I would be the international World Cup.

That attitude is just the way some City fans are. Some still say the Champions League is shit despite experiencing the Bayern quarters, Madrid semis and Inter-Istanbul final in 2023. How can anyone call a competition that gave us that run of games and wins and the feeling of doing it in each of those rounds, the greatest run of games in City’s history, shit I’ll never know.

I don't agree with your first paragraph but you're spot on with your second. I was in Istanbul with 4 friends, one of whom has been my best mate of 53 years at the time, he's got terminal Prostate Cancer and that moment when we lifted the trophy will be one of the greatest and most emotional moments in football after all the shit we'd endured through the years

I'm happy to report my mate is still here, he's got the same form of prostate cancer that Bill Turnbull passed with and Chris Hoy, ie, the primary cancer is in the prostate but spread to the bones before the prognosis was made.
