This new one happens every 4 years so we'd be on a six year gold badge run.If we win it and get to wear it another year will we be the club to wear the badge the longest, that would be 3 years on the bounce.

If we draw against that Casablanca team, will we have to play it again?
Ha ha even better that would look great in division 2This new one happens every 4 years so we'd be on a six year gold badge run.
Just read a piece on the BBC website about this competition. It's the most contrived "competition" I've ever seen, teams 'selected' to take part rather than winning anything in particular to qualify, engineered to generate money every four years and nothing else. I get it that the clubs stand to make money but I'd love it if City and maybe a couple of other "big" teams declined to take part. It's been heading this way for a while but football is becoming an 'entertainment show' rather than a sport. I'd much rather watch a plucky lower league team play CIty in the FA Cup after winning their way through the rounds than Inter Miami play City because it's "box office' and Inter Miami have Messi.
Here’s looking at you, kid.Of all the thread in all the forums you had to ……
Well said. Those City fans moaning about us competing in the World Cup which is being broadcast free to air to billions across the globe can just keep their TV switched off. Being a City supporter is not compulsory. We'd better synchronise our singing sections and get them all together ;)
I'm looking forward to this cup, I'd go for this over the CL, it's new, it's going to be very big and historic in years to come & realistically even if we stay at the top of European football it could easily be 20 years before we get the chance to play in this again (there's a lot of us who could never see us in it again due to age).
It'll be brilliant to see fans from around the world following their teams rather than the international shite.
The article of course is untrue like so much BBC content. This event will be huge across the world whatever the Little Englanders in the UK press think. They wrote that article because City are in it and not United or Liverpool.
You fell for it.
So it’s not an Infantino money making racket then?Well said. Those City fans moaning about us competing in the World Cup which is being broadcast free to air to billions across the globe can just keep their TV switched off. Being a City supporter is not compulsory.
All competitions are about making money. I prefer this FiFA event to all the meaningless international matches. UEFA have mounted a negative media campaign to discredit this rival event. The media and their pals at LFC, MUFC, AFC have not qualified. The UK media are trying to manipulate English fans as usual, You don’t have to watch it.So it’s not an Infantino money making racket then?
Both statements can be true.So it’s not an Infantino money making racket then?
