Club World Cup 2025 - Who’s going?

Im watching the draw again on TV as was on my laptop and did not give me a proper take on it all.
If the footballs as mental as the draw its going to be ace.
Someones just told me the Black guy doing the draw was Cubillas, what a player he was.
If the football is anything like the draw it will be a monumental disaster.

If my health holds up (a big if at present) I am hoping to get over there. This event is only once every four years and will eventually become as important as the CL. A billion pound broadcast deal has guaranteed that. It will generate a huge global TV audience and be taken seriously by the likes of Real Madrid,, Bayern, and River Plate.
Hope you get over and have a great time, I wonder though how much our so-called media will treat it with no red tops being there.

Do you think the brothers will be there in rival kits as their teams play each other.

"Al Ain, the most successful club in the UAE with 14 league titles, are owned by the country's president Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan - the older brother of City owner Sheikh Mansour."

Surprised they're allowed in the same group. If we play and beat juventus, technically we could throw the game against Al Ain to help them through in second lol

Watching the draw last night, the missus suddenly piped up "Shall we go?"

Due to ongoing health concerns that started when we both caught Covid (badly) when we won 2-1 in Madrid, we decided that our last game would be the Cup Final in 2023. What a way to bow out watching the Blues Live with a 2-1 win in the first Manchester derby Final.

I'm sure she's thinking of the warmth of summer in the States, so lets see what venues we are playing at???

I think the same, might struggle getting tickets through City but going to try and get there.

Are you suggesting a FIFA competition might involve some corruption? I wouldn't be surprised to see South Korea reach the semis.

Can we all treat this like the Fifa World Cup, 3 games a day wall to wall football for a month in the summer
Plus how on earth are United Liverpool Barcelona not involved because it's being called the Greatest Show on Earth

The same way England, France and Portugal were not at the world cup there- not good enough.
