Just read an article in which FIFA want to run this competition every two years - apparently United are really keen on the idea. Don't know why as they will never qualify legitimately.

About time the players kicked back at all these stupid ideas - instead of simply threatening to strike - DO SOMETHING; such as boycotting international friendlies.

If it's every two years then the qualification rules would change.

Strongly suspect they'll amend the qualification rules anyway. No way Auckland - a semi professional side will play again, Ulsan v Mamelodi Sundowns will not be allowed to happen again, and that was the last time an Austrian team will play in it too I suspect.

Next time will have more European teams and more Saudi teams.

Not the only ones at it, UEFA want the Super Cup to be a 4 team tournament now, pointless games continue to add up.
