Clubs furloughing staff

How have their finances changed so quickly one minute so broke they need a government handout, next oh we dont we have just found the money under our pillow, silly me.

Or wasnt it .....we are getting so much stick for screwing the little old British people we better pay our staff our selfs

Shameless bastards. Just read all of the comments on the posts from the media praising them and it shows how people really see Liverpool. Once again everything will be swept under the carpet.

Oliver Holt you shameless arse licking weasel, they were shamed into it, nothing more, nothing less, they tried it on and got the backlash they weren't expecting, I hope you get the worse case of crabs known to man and you scratch that much your cock falls off, you dirty paid off piece of shit.

And I thought I disliked him.

The spin is incredible.

Not just spin, this is dishonest.

A significant proportion of LFCs outgoings is of course player wages. Yet a significant proportion of those wages will be performance related. Appearances, trophies, goals, assists, etc. They are not going to be paying any of those any time soon, so their outgoings do not remain as they were, despite what Peter Moore said in their letter.

The saving they would have made by placing non playing staff on furlough is a tiny proportion of what they are saving by not paying their playing staff win bonuses, goal bonuses, appearance bonuses etc.

Ignoring that, and the basic fact that their profits make it clear they could have carried their non playing staff for ten years and barely made a dent in their profits, shows this exercise for what it was: a brazen attempt to gain financial benefit for themselves from the crisis that is affecting the entire country.

Fair does to most Dipper fans who were outraged by this decision, owners are far removed from the locals in Dipperland. Reversal was the only thing to do however it is still and will remain a PR disaster.

It seems very strange that they are bleating to their fans about how much they are losing and what a hard time they are having, very weird lot they are
