Clubs who have huge potential for a rich backer?

Everton or Spurs.

Spurs is the smart option, in terms of the stadium, being in the Capital and a team already competing.

The infrastructure and fan base are there with Spurs and you have strong revenue source you can look to raise. Everton's a longer term project similar to ours, where with the right vision and mentality you look to take on and beat a rival within your city whilst building globally. But get the planning right and there's huge potential there, and you could come in with a new stadium and a general buzz about the place. With the new stadium, Everton are in a similar place to go and do what we did with the right investment. The trouble is, the best people in football are at City so we'll be in their way still!

if i had the money to spend and invest, obviously it would be city, however that wouldn't happen because HRH is doing a great job and i wouldn't want to rock the boat, next would have to be sunderland, reckon you could get them for a good price , and build the club from the academy up, one city club, huge crowds, decent stadium already , first thing i would do is change the kits, cant be doing with red and white stripes, so i would go down the ajax look, next hack citys youth data base :) and get city's accountants(the bent ones that get us in trouble), then get the lawyers that get city out of trouble :) , and away we go

Has to be Sunderland

Huge fan base

Stadium in place

Huge rivalry with already rich neighbours

Clubs been starved of any real success and support would get behind the project

Sunderland
Wednesday
Bradford

All three had some shit times, all three have potential.

Leeds already have a new owner. Who's a yank.

Seems Qatar are out of the running for Manure now.

Begs the question, which English clubs would be a good 'project' for a rich benefactor? Fan base, stadium, debt, and cost all play a factor here.

Spurs are a London team with a great stadium but would probably be 2 Bill+ to buy now. So I'm ruling them out. West Ham are a London team who rent a big stadium (60k+), would probably cost around the 400-500 M mark to buy, so a posibility. Everton will be playing in a brand new stadium, have a great history and fan base, but a lot of debt. Probably be around the £600 M mark to buy.

Sunderland? 48 k seater, decent catchment area, big rivalry with Newcastle (who also have rich owner), could probably be bought for 50-80 Million.
With the owner of Spurs issues with the insider trading that are primed for new owner of things don’t get resolved.
