Thats fine, I can help you from here.

It gives that message to everyone, don't worry about it. Uninstall the game properly, unmount the ISO and start again. Mount the ISO, install the game using "Typical" settings. Untick the box asking if you want to install DirectX.

Right Click->Properties and set Compatibility Mode to Windows 2000 if you are on Windows XP. If on Vista or above, make sure you right click and Run As Administrator.

Then, go to this link: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.champman0102.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=144" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.champman0102.co.uk/forum/sho ... .php?t=144</a> to the point that says:
"There is not enough memory to create the game" -> BEST SOLUTION.

and follow the instructions. Don't forget that we are patching the game up!

oh well!

It's got to be a corrupted game install then. Wipe it all away and re-download it.

i have downloaded it 4 times now, i think its either a simple mistake i'm making, or just something wrong with my computer

thanks for your help but i might just go and buy the latest one instead!!

Can I just check, you are on XP, yeah?
 
Ok then:

Download game.
Unzip game.
Mount ISO using Daemon Tools.
Install using Typical settings, don't install DX.
Right click Properties, try different compatability modes. There's a bloody box underneath it that I can't recall. i think it says "Turn off Advanced Text Services" or something like that. Check it (or if it's checked, uncheck it).
Try starting the game, post back here if still getting the same error message.

not got time to do it now as i've got to leave for uni soon, i'll give it a try later and let you know!

Argh, went again my own advice and brought in a few too many players. Bought Risp as well, instead of his CB partner who looked the dogs, and he is performing badly.

Gone from 6 points clear at the top to 4th in a playoff scrap. Still time to turn it round though.

How are you getting on guys?

Get it working yet Eshiers?
