Some people just love a moan and the bizarre hatred towards them on here from some is, well, bizarre imo.

I think I read there wont be any kind of big intro/interview before the tour. I'm sure Liam will have plenty to say on stage

It isn't hatred, it's apathy.

Loved Oasis, saw them live, got most of their stuff, they are a decent band with 2-3 very good LPs and 3-4 bang average ones, but it does get boing how some have made them our beatles and being an oasis fan seems to be expectect.

I don't see them anymore stature city fan wise as anynother celbrity city fans such as Timothy Dalton, Billy Duffy, Jon Henshaw etc,

Noel and Liam are proper Blues who followed City home and away everywhere growing up. They have been great for City commercially helping to attract new fans and sell shirts. You don’t have to like their music. As someone else said:”Our friends hate us when we become famous.”

Surly it's expected that ever City fan has watched Jimmy Grimble over being a Oasis fan !

You can add Johnny Marr and Mike Pickering to the list. They seem to go everywhere with City and all used to drink in the Gardeners Arms at Maine Road. Personally I think celebrity fans can only be positive in terms of promoting the club.

I know I have sat many a time in the gardeners in my youth and seen them in there, same with Rod Gretton, who I had a few chars with.

Nowt wrong with having local celebs putting us out there, be it Kevin Kenedy, Marr, Noel and Liam, Doves, Mmark Burges etc etc etc.

My comment was why do we need a 4th thread on one particular band, we have 3 in off topic already where this has probably already been suggested, as I said only leads to apathy on the subject.

Plus we have a celbrity city thread also somewhere here.
