Does anyone buy fresh roasted coffee beans in Manchester anywhere?
I'm starting to try and up my coffee game, bought a bag of fresh roasted beans from a place in West didsbury yesterday and the taste and "buzz" is night and day compared to the other stuff I've been getting from amazon.
It's not cheap, I paid nine quid for a bag, but if you work it out by cup after grinding it down its about 50p a go so miles cheaper than any of the shite served in Starbucks and what not

Rave do some good ones and deliver them very quickly. It is nice to try different ones.

You're right about using freshly roasted beans being massively superior to anything else. For one thing you can grind them to use all different sorts of brewing methods. I have an espresso machine and I buy freshly roasted beans from https://www.cworks.co.uk/
You should get 14 double/28 single espressos from 250g of beans, so it does work out cheaper than your standard Costa/Starbucks coffee.

Kev, who does this, lives in Alty so it's a question of waiting for a couple of days for the package to arrive but he has a great selection and does loads of videos on various aspects of making coffee and equipment reviews. He also has some good discount codes for Sage & Gaggia. I now have a monthly subscription, which works out a bit cheaper and you can change the beans you get every month.

I tried Mancoco near Deansgate station & wasn't bowled over but it was before I became more knowledgeable and experienced in brewing decent coffee.

We buy beans from Mancoco quite often.

They are expensive but so much better than anything you can get in a supermarket.

quite a few around Manchester. I presume the Didsbury one was workerbee. As other have said mancoco and also tried heart and graft based in newton heath.

When I was having stroll around Ancoats did notice a sign for Ancoats coffee co which I haven't tried yet.

I'm using a basic electric grinder of amazon and a cafetiere at the minute, are the machines a massive jump up in quality compared to this?
