I use a Moka pot but buy good quality coffee

I've used a Moka pot for 15 years (along with the Lidl espresso machine). Superb.

I dont live near any decent coffee "emporiums", so just get stuff from supermarkets. Currently drinking a Japanese one called Ueshima, available at most supermarkets.

Why would I wan't that 'Starbucks full experience' at home?

The place is full of rad hipsters on iMac's, ****'s taking pictures of their soy latte's and moaning twats looking for a working power outlet to charge their phone so that they can watch Tik-Toc reels at full volume. Plus the lazy cunts in their cars get served twice as fast as everyone else at the drive-through window, and to top it all off their coffee is fucking shite.

Looks like it only does expressos though.

The tend to use a pressurised basket, and don't really produce espresso. Often better than instant coffee, but not consistently.

Just bought the Ninja Premier Luxe Pro. Great machine and perfect coffee. Best thing I’ve bought in a long time. It’s a barista style one so you have to make it with a portafilter etc but it’s got a built in tamp function and looks the part.

I got 20% off at Argos. Not sure if it’s still on but Black Friday is coming up in November so I’d wait.

I've got the Sage Barista Pro but if I was starting again I'd probably go for the Bambino Espresso and a separate grinder. Once you get the hang of it, you'll get a far better cup of coffee than anything you get in a shop.

Can you tell the difference between fresh beans and supermarket ones? Since Christmas, I've gone from ground coffee to supermarket beans this year. Whilst hand grinding the beans adds to the whole display (compared to instant!), I'm not sure I can really tell the difference to the ground coffee, but that's with a pour over rather than an espresso machine.

Waiting for black Friday and will probably go for the Sage Barista Express Impress or Ninja Luxe Pro based on price and may have to up the game to fresh beans.

I've had an Aeropress for a few years and it's never let me down. I use the Tesco Italian ground coffee and a milk whisker and honestly it's superb and simple. It's far better than any Starbucks etc and honestly, for the money you can't go wrong. We have these fancy machines in work and I don't think they taste any better!
