So okay, our sink has stopped draining water and we think the pipes have frozen.

What do we do...?

Try heating the pipes underneath the sink with a hairdryer

Put on the fire and the heating and hope that the heat defrosts the pipes nothing much you can do when things like that happen.

Pay money to get it sorted or get paper plates, take away and smell like a tramp for a month.

If it's from an upstairs bathroom it may be ice in the guttering. Get a big bag of salt and a ladder.

If it`s frozen from the outside pipes mate pour some hot water over it and also boil some water and keep pouring down the sink and if it`s ice it shoul;d eventually free up.

scoop out what you can,put salt in a pan of boiling water and pour into sink,worth a try and very cheap,if it works leave the cold tap running slowly so it doesn't happen again

Got the same problem here but it's the pipe from the shower that seems to have frozen. Bathroom is on the 3rd floor of the house so can't even get up there.

Just going to have to wait until it warms up tomorrow.

mine is doing it all the fcuking time. its annoying but just keep adding hot water and it it will free up eventually
