Coldest/worst weather at a City match

I went to Grimsby 1956? in 3rd round of Cup
Heavy snow all the way and we didn't know on train if match was on or not.
Grimsby asked for all fans home and away to help clear pitch of snow which we all did and match went ahead and I think we drew and lost home replay.
Was frozen all day.
Anyone remember that

No !! 4 at the time.

Mentioned before...
City v Sunderland Maine Road Wednesday 9th March 1977 1-0.
It had been drizzling raining most of the afternoon but it had just got slightly heavier when we got of the 157 bus at Platt Fields.
Got in the ground and it started to rain properly and there there was a stiff north-westerly breeze that meant you got wet standing at the bottom of the Kippax or sitting at the bottom of the old Platt Lane. As the match progressed the wind got up and the rain got heavier.
the crush under the Kippax roof became unbearable so me and my two mates decided to go and stand in Windy corner between the Kippax and the Platt kane below the away fans far enough back to get shelter from the Platt Lane Roof.
Though our other mates got drenched in the lower reaches of the Kippax the shelter lasted about 15 mins till the wind got up and blew the rain into the mesh between the Platt Lane & Kippax producing a fine spray that just went straight through your clothes.
The rain just got heavier and heavier and heavier with a nice stiff wind in your face driving the rain virtually horizontally into our faces - with 10 mins to go pools of water were appearing on the pitch and the ball was beginning to stop in the pools. The ref took advice from his linesmen on 2 or 3 occasions but the match just survived without being abandoned. We were sopping Wet from head to toe. Completely drenched and cold.
Loads of drowned rats got on the 157 to go home and the bus turned into a steam room so at least we got warmed up. You couldn't see much more than about 5 feet.

For me - Red Bull Salzburg at home in December 2010? (Match where "Alan" became a City favourite.

That match was FREEZING, and it didn't help with the snow!
