Cole Palmer

I get that but doesn't change the situation... we didn't recognise his quality and make him want to stay.

A player we developed, who could have been the next piece in midfield given the evolution of the squad.

Hopefully Nunes will be the man but lots of work to do for there.
What a bag of shit. Palmer wanted to go ... end off.Pep has always stated that anyone who doesn`t want to here can find another club ... as long as its suits City.

Why do people always make all emotional comments about past players when they perform for their team? Palmer is a big fish in a small pond over here he was a small fish in a big pond. Who would you drop in the team to play him? Just like Sancho he wanted to start every game immediately and Pep guarantees that for no one. When he had his chances he was never brilliant just average. Something he showed when he missed an absolute sitter. Scoring a penalty does not change that he can start for Chelsea but he cannot start for us not even start for the very average England team. So NO we did not make a mistake by selling a player who wanted to leave.
