We let Palmer go as Pep obviously couldn`t see him getting much game time at City and perhaps Pep knew something about the lads lack of game time due to other circumstances that we`re not privy too ?

I`m not doubting the lads ability but for some reason he was never consistent when given chances at City, unlike Rico who when given chances seldom lets us down.

Good player but nowhere near the elite squad we have. If you look at Chelsea team it’s average players, that’s why Cole looks good in that team.

We did, as he has BAGS of talent for the future not now!. That was a problem and i sense that he may have had a bit of a face like a smacked arse when not in at City...most mangers sort of want that as it shows desire to play. I think Pep hates that! Made it easier to give a player we have educated since 8 YEARS OLD..i repeat 8 years old!!! the door. We will rue this, i think he needed special dispensation for over 10 years service...just saying Cole should have been treated differently, we could have built a squad of Gtr Manchester players ...amazing

So break the rules and give him special treatment which results in what happening? Look at the Rags or PSG or other teams where this has happened? People said the same about Sancho when he left. And his length of service is irrelevant as HE wanted to go. So who are you dropping for him to get in the team to keep him happy? Foden? Jack? Alvarez?

He is not even close to any of their levels.
