Here’s a link to Goal’s top 50 all time England players and today’s feature is Colin.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.goal.com/en/news/2274/goalcoms-top-50-english-players/2009/05/21/1277915/goalcoms-top-50-english-players-colin-bell-26" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.goal.com/en/news/2274/goalco ... in-bell-26</a>

Wish I’d been alive to experience the likes of Bell, Lee and Summerbee. My granddad knows Colin, mentions him in his autobiography actually, and I’ve met him a few times and he seems a lovely gent. Interestingly it mentions Franny Lee kicked him out of our youth coaching? Anyone know more on this? My girlfriend’s dad worked with Lee years ago and said that him and Summerbee were great friends but they didn’t have any time for Colin Bell? Anyone know the background on this?

Not as good as Elano

How come I'm still stuck in work and you're posting!

Been to a funeral today C

One of my chidhood friends(united fan) sad mate 32 and gone

It was sad but good seeing a lot of people where I grew up, now I live away from Salford

A bit pissed but in good humour

Get back to work and stop stealing work time by posting on here - or I will tell your boss :-)

Thanks for this.

I was at his comeback game and it was really sad and very difficult to watch even for a 10 year old.

The complete footballer.

wow no chance dave, we ll never see the like again, i used to wave at him running down princess parkway before he started training, can you imagine the tranny doing that, you would probably see him fly past in a bentley or something but thats about it...
