Colin Hendry declared bankrupt

good bloke..

but a silly fucker ...

shouldnt gamble like a twat.

cant feel sorry for him.

I'm not making excuses for him but none of you will know why he gambled! it may be down to losing wife and secondly one of his biggest creditors was an old friend of his that was looking for his £85000. All im saying dont judge someone you don't know!

I'm still pissed off about those 2 late goals.....brought it all right back it did.
CH,been through the mill but hope he manages to get back on track.

just put all my wages on a horse and its still runnin

can you all club together and lend me a few quid?

Colin Hendry is a legend.

Left football to look after his sick wife. Borrowed £85k off his "mate" after being left skint.

His wife died, within no time at all his "mate" wanted the cash back. He couldn't pay him, his "mate" sued him, he's been declared bankrupt.

His "mate" = wanker

Colin Hendry = Legend

Not had a lot of luck, sad what he's had to go through but you have to say a lot of it is self inflicted.

Firstly as a player an imperious centreback who should have been allowed to form a partnership with Keith Curle but wasn't allowed to by Peter Reid for reasons that I'll never get my head around? He prefered Steve Redmond.

Secondly as a bloke had a real feeling for our club.

I don't agree with the suggestions we raise money for him but he was still a decent servent for City and I wish him well.

That works the other way as well, so dont feel sorry for him till you know the facts either!

I have met him a few time in Lytham and he is a nice guy and i feel for him losing his wife

BUT Remember he has been allowed to keep his home in Lytham which is worth over 1 million pounds so lets just hold back on any collections.

Unless you all live in 1 million mansions that is ?

yer how do you get declared bankrupt if you still own a 1.7 million pound mansion???

thought the banks would have made him sell the house to raise funds before he was declared bankrupt?
