Very sad news indeed. I can only echo the thoughts of others. It would seem that she's lived (if that's the right word) with the effects of that botched surgery for 7 years, and must have been in considerable pain for most of it.

I thought that she'd made a full recovery, but it seems not.

I doubt that Colin reads this forum, but if he did, I send him my deepest condolences.
