Any news on the injury how bad it is? I thought he did ok. As I have said before tonight was a night for Barry and De Jong to boss the midfield but for times it was the other way round. Some nice passes there it was a shame he went off injured.
 
I just wonder where his determination and energy gone. He just stopped and walked when he lost the ball (and that was before he injured).
 
As bad as he was, things actually got worse when he left, that is saying something about this team really.

I think Ireland out didn't has any impact at all for our game but put SWP straight in to AJ's position on the right side was a mistake imo. AJ just had a great run on that flank untill swp came on and took his position. That's why our game was going down hill since then.
 
Irelands performance reflected his performance of this season; Useless. He mitheres for a game, and gets the game which most probably determines where we finish, no wonder Bobby doesn't play him. However I can't just blame him, all the team looked rather poor apart from Tevez, Richards and Johnson. I think Bobby got it wrong when he took Johnson off, we we're killing them on that wing. I salute Mancini for squaring up at Moyes, just wished he's hit the c**t.

But heads up chaps, European football next season either way. One step at a time.
 
Has he had a health scare and is no longer allowed to get his heart rate going over 100?
Never seen a player with so much energy and grit transform into a fucking paperboy.
I want the old Ireland back, he has never been the same since he fainted.

I'm with you, over rated waste of breath if he was a dog i'd have him put down why cant everyone see he just is not good enough for anythin other than a mid table team
 
I think there is something seriously wrong with stevie.
he has no sparkle, zip what ever you want to call it.
his mental state I'd be worried about. you do not forget how to
play football with his god given talent. played tonight like he was on prozac.
chasing shadows for 30 mins with the odd burst of creativity.
he's supposed to be so fit yet he looked like he was carring bag of cement
on his back. his mind is elsewhere i reckon.......not on football..

Not a chance he's playing with a full deck......... what pisses me off in a nutshell, and this includes life, are those who waste fucking talent. If you can't have the mental character to succeed with the talent he's got you have no place in our club, and that goes for richards or any other prima donna who believes there own hype. What the fuck happened to him? to much to soon if you ask me....... he had a great season last year but was rewarded far to greatly, £85,000 per week for a kid at the stage of his development is criminal, and not a chance fergiscum would of allowed it to happen if it was one of his.

The creativity was the bullshit excuse he came up with to get substituted so he could get an early dart cos his missus was pickin him up b4 the match finished....... Very creative
