There is no way I wad having thatso I looked it up and it seems they do have a live audience, however, the audience's laughter is recorded and and later used to added later
Hence why some spells of laughter appear to sound the same (that was what I read, I can't bear watching for long enough to notice laughter tracks). There also seems to be lots of clips on YouTube (like the one above fron Aguerooooooo) of the show with the laughter removed in order to reveal how funny it really is. Complete shite.
