Cometh the hour, cometh the 12th man

Having seen and heard the Palace fans on Monday it re-iterated just what a part we, as fans, as 12th man (or woman) can do.

This where the 12th man plays it's part. We will all be nervous, that's natural, but what we can do is push the lads across the winning line. We don't need to be arrogant like the Scousers have been, we don't need mind games like Mourinho, we just need to let our City know that we are there for them, 100%. We can't put them under pressure if we don't score in the first 15 minutes, we have to be positive, loud and proud. We can create an atmosphere where we put our City under pressure or we can create an atmosphere where we let our lads know how much we love them, how proud we are of them, how we know they are fighting till the end, how we are City, Super City, how we stand up because we love them, let's just give them everything they need to feel like unbeatable warriors going into battle. Two games, two wins. Let us be there for them and let them bring it home for us, we are one.

I ain't gonna be there but will be watching live on the other side of the world.

The Palace fans have set a benchmark..............We better hear it!!

Forget the Palace benchmark, we are City, let's match the Wembley semi v the Scum atmosphere, now that was passion.

Let's make a din like never before tonight and then double it again on Sunday !

Our boys are good enough to do the job, the fans will be there for them tonight make no mistake about that !

COME ON CITY !!

Might be a bit noisier but will still be 3000 people arriving late, empty seats in family stand, first leavers at 75 minutes and 10,000 empties at final whistle.

May be different Sunday though!

Depends what the score is. Incidently, how many people around you got up and left when Sunderland scored their second. It was carnage in the Colin Bell Stand.

can we please stop all this palace glorification shit - we do need noise and passion, and we will get that tonight, but what we do not need is stolen continental songs which are not original, and we do not need any shirtless muppets telling us what to sing. We got this shit about sjoke - averaged less than 11k over the 25 years before getting into the PL, then because they got excited about being in the PL they were suddenly the best fans in the world - but how many do they bring 30 miles up the road to City every season, less than 1 fucking thousand.

Take the point about the noise but quit the shit about emulating the likes of palace

Nail on the head, mate. "Palace have set the benchmark" my arse.

Agree with the post 100%

We now have to have the seige mentality the feeling we are 1 especially with the media swooning over the dippers and us the hated money spending buying the league club.

We have to show the players the passion and pride to play for the shirt we dream of wearing.

i remember Stoke in the third tier when we were getting beat and the second half we as a crowd never stop chanting and singing about the team and we won 2-1.

we have to push this team over that line tonight and Sunday
