We got this shit about sjoke - averaged less than 11k over the 25 years before getting into the PL, then because they got excited about being in the PL they were suddenly the best fans in the world - but how many do they bring 30 miles up the road to City every season, less than 1 fucking thousand.

Palace have an atmosphere twenty times better than ours. You could hear a pin drop at the Etihad at times. Instead of acknowledging that Palace must be doing something right, you people are saying things like "yeah, well their atmosphere isn't "organic" or isn't "original" or isn't "what we want"". You sound like the scouse wankers talking about City's rise to prominence.

At the end of the day, their atmosphere is better than ours. It doesn't matter whether you like the way they did it or don't, the be all and end all is that if we had that atmosphere we've be furiously masturbating to how wonderful we all are and taking away credit from the only team that's bothered to get themselves organised in the Premier League is exactly why all of the top teams have a bullshit atmosphere.

You should be taking notes from them, not denigrating their atmosphere as "false".

In regards to the "noise and passion" tonight, we'll get exactly what we always get; an nice opening 10 minutes and if it's still 0-0 the atmosphere will drop to dead and everybody will start getting edgy and grumbling every time we give the ball away.

People sit there slagging off Palace fans or previously Liverpool fans, making threads about how everybody needs to improve the atmosphere and how nobody in your section will sing.
