A rag at work said this morning, "At least the trophy's staying in Manchester".

I corrected him, saying, "No, it's returning to Manchester".

So then he starts on about how it's a plastic team with no Englishmen in it. I told him all the English players in the squad and said, "I don't give a fuck how many Englishmen are in the team. In fact I wouldn't care if there were little green men from Mars in it. It's my team and we're champions!"

And I overheard a Liverpool fan saying at the start of the season that City wouldn't win anything this season, as we don't have football men in charge, whatever that meant. I reminded of his comments this morning and it was as if he'd been towing the Brenda line and started banging on about the money we've spent.

So I reminded him of the money the dippers have spent, including the £100 million that Kenny chartism spent.meh denied it, of course.

However, fans of other clubs all congratulated me. One of the decent rags asked me how I was feeling. "Champion, I bet?", he said.

My brother phoned me up today from his work and apparently a month ago, one of the security guys at his place who's a Liverpool fan had been singing Champions etc.

Anyway last week the guy had a week off work and today are kid asked him what did he get, an OBE, CBE or MBE last week when he was off.

The guy hadn't a clue what are kid was on about until he told him "well you went down to the Palace didn't you". He replied with the usual **+%. I thought it was funny as!!

My cousins an Arsenal fan and he said he really respects City now due to Pelligrini, he said hes like Wengers brother.

Then said how theyd be competing at the top next etc etc

No fully understandable. Lots of them have started keeping an eye on events in the Championship just recently.

Was funny at the pub watching interviews with scousers through subtitles. Every tume without fail money came up, to big cheers in the pub.
