Comments from fans of other clubs?

Received congraulatory texts from two Sheff United fan and another Sheff Wed fan - all of whom don't like Liverpool (everyone's 2nd favourite team my @rse). Another Wednesday (who I know doesn't care for the Liverpool) asked if I enjoyed the day (!!). Silly question, but I was polite, honest.

Villa fan I work with was also congratulatory, as was an Arse Nil mate (Hadn't got the heart to say "Come on Hull next Saturday"!). I don't know any other Gunners but I bet you they wouldn't be quite so congratulatory.

Congrats from 2 Villa supporting Engineers as well today who preferred us winning to the Dippers.

Silence from the other fans (inc another Blade who no longer goes (he pathetically said they are too bad to watch) so he doesn't count), so I presume they wanted the Dippers to win.

No rags where I work in Sheffield (this town to its credit generally sticks by its own clubs rather than glory hunt).

Taking the piss out of any Liverpool fan today because;

A) They've never seen the City, let alone fucking Anfield, or if they have it's the one off in their life to fulfill their plastic dream

and

B) They were giving it 10 fucking barrels when they beat us, singing champions and taking the piss. Whilst I personally had conceded the title to some extent (to try and not get worked up over it), I told them it wasn't over and that Chelsea could and would beat them, rendering it in our hands once again. Whilst that was not a given, they still gave it the "Stevieeeeee Gerrard deserves it so we will win it".

SOOOO fuck them.

Pretty positive all in all: Rags, scouse, spuds alike. Scouse mate called me up to say congratz last night.
Arsenal surprisingly friendly too, probably on their own high of getting to a cup final.

Been the usual money jibes today. People talk about Utd having a lot of glory supporters in the south but Liverpool have just as many. Growing up down here was torturous at times with Utd's success but this season it's been unbearable with the Liverpool fans.

One guy I work with (though, to be fair, his parents are scousers) first told me that our stadium is always empty. I replied with the average attendance figures. Then he claimed that our higher attendances was because we had more corporate seats than Anfield (he quoted 8000 - I looked it up and couldn't find any such info, and replied that the numbers didn't really add up when including season ticket sales and away fan allocation). Then, for his finale, he said that when Dzeko scored his second against Villa on Wednesday "you could hear a pin drop". Muppet.

Also saw some Spurs fan post on Facebook about how a team that has spent so many millions should expect win the league, and moaning that it's all about money now. I congratulated his team on spending the paltry sum of £100m and finishing 6th.

Must admit that many of the positive comments have come from rags.

To be fair when Dzeko scored, we all weren't having that celebration nonsense. We just folded our arms, calmly sat down and acknowledged we are buying the league and it's hollow so it doesn't mean anything..

Got a great message yesterday from two mates in the USA who are big Seattle Sounders fans. They had been watching the game live and were off out to celebrate our win. A long day for them as they are 8 hours behind us so god know what state they would have been in at the end. Probably the same as me!! They were just glad we had won and were totally fed up of the 'Liverpool love in' by all and sundry in the media

no sour grapes from a liverpool fan here. the best team won over 38 games, and both us and city try and play football in the right manner. well done
