Got my ticket for Wembley. Just wondered what would be the best time for getting down there, which train to Euston should i get down there and what time train should i get back?
Also, from Euston, how do i get to the green man pub?

Also (i know know, mithering!) what is the cheapest train i can get? Found a return for £70 cheapest so far
Cheers

This is an ironic post having a pop at the dozens of people that come on here asking questions about this that and everything of other people when they could just as easily find out themselves in 2 minutes yes??

Do what the rest of us did, look yourself and decide for yourself and don't be so lazy by coming on here expecting people to do the spadework for you.

Seriously, leave it out mate.

OP: I'm getting the 8:20 train from Piccadilly. Looks like the off-peak tickets are cheaper than the advance ones, which means you can get basically any train on the day.

Cheers mate

I would recommend that you get there on the Sunday, preferably before 2.30pm.

The stadium is the big fucking thing with a metal bridge across the top of it, and there will be thousands of people heading towards it. If you're still unsure, ask one of them the way to the stadium. I'm sure they'll help.

I recommend you don't travel via barge from Wigan Pier. It takes fucking ages.

Anything else you need to know?

1988, what have you done to upset these miserable bastards?

Get the Tube from Euston. The Green Man is up the hill from the roundabout on the West Side of the Ground. Walk up Wembley Way, hang a right (there's a big flight of steps to walk down) and walk straight ahead to the world famous roundabout.

You'll probably need to get there before 11.30 - noon as it gets busy and the Police/Doorstaff might not let you in if it's too busy. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the ground so leave at 14.00.
