Community Shield kick off

Any guesses what loyalty point range this will get to? Or will it get to general sale?

If we have 15,000 seats mate and we sold 36,000 season tickets my guess it won't make blue card never mind open sale. Surely season ticket holders will want to make this trip

-- Mon Jun 18, 2012 9:40 pm --

These early kick offs on Sundays are not to kind for train connections, many connections dont run before 10am but when have the travelling supporters ever been considered, We also like a pre match pint. The good old days, 3pm kick offs, I have a feeling that a newbie will be replacing me now we appear very fashionable for tv games, the london trips costing £130 plus are becoming harder to afford for me and many more of the old school lads, we were there in the good old days when the team were not very good but sadly the old faces are being replaced especially for the expensive games in the capital.
The things the travelling fan dont like date changes, daft kick off times, uncertainty preventing the early booking of tickets but no one worries as SKY money runs football now.

ITV are actually broadcasting the Community Shield live this year. I'm surprised by the 1:30pm KO because it will clash with the final day of Olympic events. The last event finishes at 5pm so it reasonable to believe the match would KO at 5:15.

Can't wait for this game and to sing the blues on. A cup is a cup in my eyes and want to win it! Think only season ticket holders will get a ticket for this game. 15.000 tickets i think

well you wont be interested in the comunity shield then

That 1.30 start is gonna kill me being a 7.30 start here in St. Louis! Oh well, I'll have to hit up a pub, have a proper breakfast, and watch the Blues beat Chelsea.
