I thought that was quite entertaining for a preseason friendly. The youngsters did well. Bobb was particularly good in the first half. We didn’t see too much of him in the second half when we appeared to concentrate all our attacks down the left. Lewis also played well. O’Reilly and McAtee weren’t quite as good but I wouldn’t be writing them off just yet, there’s clearly a lot of ability there.

My main concern is how, once again, we were left exposed to the counter attack after losing possession in the Rags right back position. If we are going to play with attacking wingers who will, from time to time, fail to beat their full back and concede possession, we have find a way to protect the space behind them to stop the counter.

Anyway, one down, four to go.
