I think it’s 14 days notice that a union have to give for a strike, so they’ll be no more on the 30th, other than the ones Alsef called today, which won’t affect anyone travelling from Manchester at least.

Having said that, they are talking about the railway grinding to a near standstill early next week because of the weather, so let’s hope it’s cooled down a bit by the end of the month.

I know. He had me worried. Thought RMT had announced another day.
Oh , so it’s just the folk who drive the trains who are on strike then ?
Phew . At least I’ll be able to get my meal deal whilst stuck in Piccadilly train station ;)

My train service isn’t on the affected list yet . ( Cross Country and EMR ) but I think it’ll change . Worst case scenario , I’ll have to drive . Have to face the tramps sober .

I'm similar with Northern and EMR. But if they haven't joined by Saturday we should be OK with the 14 day notice ruling. Famous last words!

Does this thing have extra time or is it straight to penalties if it's a draw at FT?

Just wondering what time I'd likely be home if it went the distance!
