Just had a look on Liverpool’s website and they’ve been given an extra 325 tickets. This is in contrast to the extra 1700 or so we’ve received. Also, Liverpool appear to still be selling out of their original allocation with those 325 - along with any returns - only being available for sale on Friday afternoon. Granted, their criteria is currently stricter than ours and they have a convoluted sales process with waiting lists, etc, but it looks like the Friday sale is first come, first served, for all members and season ticket holders, plus they’ve had less tickets to shift than us.

I think what this shows is that they’re not immune from slower than expected ticket sales, despite what some of their deluded fans might claim.

Interestingly, they also initially gave priority to those fans who attended the most FA Cup games last season (not including the semi and final), regardless of season ticket holder status. So a season ticket holder who only attended, say, one or two of those games, was further down the pecking order than a member who attended three or four.
Why are you arsed?

Liverpool's ballet stage was oversubscribed by around 4:1 and they are going to those on the reserve list from the ballot for the extra allocation inn priority order. I'm not sure how you work out low demand from that?
You got a link to that 4:1 demand mate? I’ve just looked again and they opened ballot applications to all fans who had attended at least one of those 4 FA Cup games. As 3 of those games were at home, the pool of fans who could apply to go into the ballot is admittedly very large and could potentially even exceed 4:1 but it seems the first sale was to those who attended all 4 games, then the next sale dropped down to just 1 game attended subject to applying in the ballot and being successful. I’d have thought if it was 4:1 initially applying then the sales would go: 4 games attended, then 3, then 2, then 1. Also, if there were nigh on 50,000 applicants for just over 12,000 tickets you’d have thought they would’ve all sold by now and there would be no need for these additional sales windows. Unless loads of Liverpool fans who went into the ballot have passed up on the chance of buying tickets once they’ve qualified.

I would add that selling tickets through a ballot process will always generate more interest. If City sold away tickets that way, I’m sure every game would be over-subscribed. Doesn’t mean that everyone entering the ballot seriously intends to go though as entering a ballot isn’t a commitment to attend the match in question.

Don't forget, liverpool fans have the privilege of attending a game against a club with with civilised fans. We don't and I'm sure that has put people, like myself, off going.
Get yourself a ticket, get down there, and if you see any Liverpool fans playing up then just windmill the fuckers!

Let's be honest, Liverpool have got a big glory hunting fan base. Norway, Scandinavia, Eire, N.Ireland, Wales, London and the Home Counties, the Far East, ex-Scouse Pats abroad, etc. Thankfully for Liverpool they only have 7K season ticket holders with a L postcode, so sorting out their local support with tickets shouldn't be a problem. ;-)
It’s easy to grow a club’s fan base when Liverpool’s £multi billion communications empires are promoting them ,including the British Scousewashing Corporation and Sly Sports.

Got two last night for myself and daughter..
£94 for us( no where near the cost of two new shirts) a bit steep but I’ve messed up on not renewing my season card due to personal reasons, so trying to make it up to her.
Maybe a little too much paranoia on here sometimes let us be us and fook the rest of them .Times are very difficult for many families
Up the blues.
