I’m staying at the Holiday Inn in the centre. My mate who’s a big Leicester fan has shown me the best route for boozers on the way to the ground. He recommends The Globe and the Bowling Green. See attached picture EA61BE39-B32B-4C52-917F-9298CC70BB88.jpeg
 
Blackpool away 1999, City end massively over subscribed, you could get a perfect forgery in Manchester for a couple of quid. Mind you Blackpools ticket in those days you could forge with a John Bull

Yes it was an early kick off that one and afterwards we headed over to Blackburn to watch Blackburn V Leeds.

Bit of topic but its funny what you remember, they brought on some kid 18/19 year old and the tannoy announcer called him the ‘wonder boy or wonder kid’ cue laughter and derision from the City end before he ripped us apart for the last 20. Always remember that, but nothing now about the game.

Adam Nowland the boy wonder?
Bloomfield Rd before redevelopment was to put it politely a rather basic stadium.
