Community Shield Tickets

don't think any game against them could be classed as a friendly be it played in Manchester,Stretford,London or the moon

Can't believe how easy it was to order my tickets online! got two £45 tickets in under 5 minutes!

Nice to see the club finally sorting this out!

Yeah, got my tickets in just a few minutes...had to queue for nearly 30 seconds on the phone. Either we have a super-efficient new customer services dept or no-one is going to this match!

Me too
Tried early yesterday and again today and kept getting an error
However tried at about 10 o'clock and it went through very smoothly, and no booking charges! That's the best bit

If I remember correctly there was a few who said they weren't going to the semi final, 'cos it was Wembley', although we still sold out. A lot of apathy for the latter rounds of the FA Cup when we were at home and couldn't sell out. I can understand people not going if they're on holiday, or are skint, but apathy tits me off. First Community Shield in nearly 40 years, against the rags, and you can't be arsed.

We'lll be the laughing stock of Europe next season if we don't fill the ground for the Champions League games either. Perhaps we do need some new fans and all the moaning dears can go and watch County, where they belong. It's a lot cheaper and you can be home in 10 minutes. Not many cup matches either.

Have County got a decent forum, if not, you could start one up and spend all day on there; failing that you could spend some time with the wife and kids!

Oh god. We've got another kiam on the forum. All piss and vinegar and living in a sky blue utopia

Seems a bit too similar to a rag jibe for comfort that?

Don't get paranoid now. If County is not local to you substitute any other club nearby who have no chance of winning anything, no prospects and no traffic on match days.

The analogy being that having been starved of success at City for so long, some fans are now taking it for granted. This comes more into the fold of the glory hunter and the armchair takes preference. You can also spot the people on this forum who spend longer on it then actually watching City, but don't have the time to go. This is despite being 'local'.

This may be a nothing game as such, but beating United again will reinforce our superiority, both on and off the pitch. So take from that what you will.

I'll be at Wembley, as will you no doubt. For those who can't be arsed, don't bother then, but please don't whinge about it.

Sent from my sky blue utopia....

Couldn't agree more, see you at Wembley!!!

will this make open sale, and if so, when?

very poor communication from city, why not set out the whole selling criteria so "EVERYONE" knows where they stand, and keep fans updated with sales.

I think they're probably waiting to see how many they sell in the first criteria. Expect them to go on open sale Tues/Weds next week.

I'm going out of a sense of duty more than anything. I would be ashamed of myself if I was watching on TV and there were loads of empty seats in our end.

I am sure it will be enjoyable for those who make the trip. Hopefully there will be a few debutants and another change to take the piss out of that lot. Bring it on.

cannot see it being as early as that mate, its still 3500 loyalty points as of next monday.

there are lots of season cards below that, then city card or whatever it is called, it will probably be on the day before the game knowing city.

judging by this forum, and people i have spoken to, hardly anyone is going.
