Who are we playing?

liverpool hahahaha

after all its a charity shield and a major trophy and how bad do we all feel after liverpool losing the champions league final like they did after mo salah was cut down it was not fair and if he was on the field liverpool would have won easy. it even had a affect on the keeper who still had tears in his eyes after seeing mo being cut down so badly meaning the ball was slippy to the gloves with him wiping his eyes and in fact a replay should be called for it was that bad

well I won that money on City scoring more than 103 goals, so it's only fair I support the team at Wembley, I'm also paying for my mates ticket n train fare as well. I would be going anyway, I get people can't afford it, but we need to sell out to show the team we are fully behind em to retain the league.

Turns out Liverpool are playing themselves in the Community Shield.

First chance to see Riyad Mahrez play for us at Wembley. ;-) I still remember the disappointment of us losing to the rags after being 2 up, because Bobby Manc didn't take it seriously enough. They all count, in my book.

It definitely counts. As a one off trophy it's not something you write home about, but it sets the tone for the season, everyone is looking to see if we're going to be as untouchable as last season, and winning this is a chance to say "nothing's changed".

Losing in 2012 felt like it prefaced all the disappointment that followed that season.

We won it in 2012.
